Our church leaders have been working to discern and identify three core values that our church will focus on in the next 2-3 years. These values will be the way Hickory Grove United Methodist Church will orient our lives as we seek to follow Christ's command to "make disciples for the transformation of the world."

2024 Graduates! We will be celebrating our 2024 graduates on Sunday June 9th.
Please send us the name, school, a photo and post-grad plans, if available by May 20th to Gail in the church office.
These students will also be shared in our June edition of Grove Echoes.

Math Tutors
Heart Math Tutor Volunteers Needed Heart Math Tutoring is looking for 1hr/week tutors for elementary students who are behind in basic math and do not have the resources for private tutoring.

HGUMC Young(ish) Adult Ministry
We are revamping our HGUMC Young Adult Ministry. This is a ministry for Gen-Z and Millennials to grow in relationship with God and one another, as well as to have fun!
We will be meeting in a hybrid format (Trinity Room + Google Hangouts) on an every-other-week basis on Monday nights, starting at 7:15pm.
Our summer dates: May 20, June 3, June 17, July 8, July 22, August 5, and August 19
Prostate Cancer Education Session
Come hear from medical experts and be informed about prostate cancer on Saturday April 27th from 10am-12pm in the Family Worship Center with a free hot lunch provided.
Women and men are welcome to attend.
